When we feel alone, are plagued with worry, or feel stuck in our lives, it can be hard to believe that we can live more freely and with real ease. One of my core beliefs is that your body, emotions, and mind naturally want to move from stuckness towards movement and connection when given good support.
So to help your body along towards the wholeness it actively seeks, I offer guidance. I start by listening to you carefully. I pay attention to your hopes and goals, and let them guide our time.
I work primarily from the perspective of Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS), a non-pathologizing, evidence-based approach that has been both gentle and powerful in supporting clients with their needs. I weave in IFS with Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), mindfulness practices, the neuroscience of autonomic nervous system change and attachment-based interventions. I also bring clarity about existing systems of power that impact your own natural movement toward healing and growth.
